Old timey “tweedpunk” survival game Sir, You Are Being Hunted has successfully secured funding on Kickstarter.
The project has raised £41,951, exceeding its initial goal of £40,000, with 24 days still remaining until the campaign’s conclusion on December 2nd.
In an update, developer Big Robot expressed astonishment at the speed with which they reached their target. “This funding will enable us to transform our prototype into a full-fledged game centered around the thrilling experience of being pursued by robots. Our immediate focus will be on enhancing animations and artwork, while also introducing new NPCs and additional details in the coming days,” they said.
Big Robot further announced plans to unveil stretch goals later the same day.
Sir, You Are Being Hunted is a survival/horror game set within a procedurally generated British landscape, where aristocratic automatons and their robotic hounds chase down human prey for sport. The game is under development by AVSEQ creator James Carey and Rock, Paper, Shotgun’s Jim Rossignol.
