The season pass will unlock a mission centered around the legendary Beowulf, where Eivor will discover the truth behind the legend. Beowulf is a heroic figure who battles a monster and a dragon. It’ll be interesting to see how Assassin’s Creed takes on this. This is the second exclusive mission for the game, following the mention of a pre-order quest. It seems the Beowulf mission is a one-off bonus, not part of the season pass’ main narrative. The lead producer said the main game will mainly take place in Norway and England, with a few surprise areas. The game debuted with a flashy trailer and new gameplay details like the English Settlement hub. Last Thursday, we saw some more of the game, which was nice, but not the gameplay footage many expected. The creative director tweeted to fans, saying they had rightfully expected more and assuring them there’s more to come. “We have a long marketing campaign ahead, you’ll see in-depth gameplay and get lots of info. Be patient and kind, it’ll be worth it!”
