The game looks stunning with detailed architecture and beautiful scenery. Combat has been streamlined but still requires skill. Stealth options allow for different playstyles. The open-world structure offers more than just killing and being killed, with skill point gains outside combat and player progression tied to attributes.
The game’s UI and controls can be fiddly, but it has a diverse cast of characters and interesting bond system. The open world allows for cultural mixing, and while the human bosses lack the grandeur of some in other games, it’s still a enjoyable experience. Ronin may not reach the heights of Elden Ring, but it shows Team Ninja’s evolution and their dedication to creating a great video game.
