Sony keeps on broadening the range of offerings on PlayStation Now. Starting today, Rainbow Six Siege, The Evil Within 2, and Get Even are all accessible through this game subscription service.
The Evil Within 2 initially launched on PlayStation 4 in 2017. It gave a modern twist to the spooky third-person action of its Shinji Mikami-directed predecessor, incorporating combat, crafting, and an open-world structure. The result, which follows Detective Sebastian Castellanos’ search for his missing daughter, generally received positive reviews. Eurogamer contributor Edwin Evans-Thirwell said in his review that there were enough thrills and spills to satisfy horror fans.
Next is Rainbow Six Siege from Ubisoft. It arrives on PlayStation Now in its base edition. Despite a challenging start in 2015, Ubisoft has continuously improved and refined the multiplayer experience. Eurogamer even gave it a re-review in 2018, calling it one of the most rewarding tactical multiplayer experiences and an exercise in well-managed complexity and lethal competitive spirit. It even earned a Eurogamer Recommended badge the second time around.
Finally, for PlayStation Now in May, there’s Get Even by developer Farm 51. It’s a first-person psychological thriller with puzzles and gunplay. A mercenary has to relive his memories after waking up in an abandoned asylum. Edwin wasn’t overly impressed with it at release in 2017, describing it as a rather ordinary tale of pride and villainy and a trashy, overwrought psychodrama with a few inspired touches.
All three games are already available on PlayStation Now. Regarding end dates, Sony notes that Rainbow Six Siege will stay on the service until November 2nd this year.
