If you desire to own one of the exclusive London City Pikachu plush toys, you’d better make a swift move. The pop-up Pokémon Center in London is on the verge of running out of these adorable toys.
The official Pokémon Center account took to Twitter to announce, “Due to the overwhelming popularity, this week will mark the final week that the London City Pikachu Plush will be available in stock at #PokemonCenterLondon.”
It further elaborated in a tweet, “Restocking will proceed on a daily basis, but there’s a high likelihood that we will completely sell out by Sunday, 10th November.” This statement was made by Pokémon Center London Updates (@PokemonPopUp) on November 3, 2019.
The tweet also adds, “Restocking will continue daily,” and emphasizes, “but we will most likely completely sell out on Sunday 10th November.”
In a follow-up tweet, fans are relieved to learn that other exclusive London-themed items are still being restocked. Thus, they should still have the opportunity to acquire other merchandise from the set between the 10th and 15th of November.
The store has also disclosed that it is introducing more products to the shop this week, “including additional licensee products”. Although the specific details of these products remain unknown for now, given the rapid pace at which everything seems to be selling out, it comes as no surprise that they are frantically seeking more merchandise to stock the shelves.
We previously reported that the Pokémon Center had reduced its opening hours to manage the demand for the exclusive collection of items. However, it appears that even this measure was insufficient to ensure a sufficient stock until the shop’s closing date.
