Wow! Nintendo has made an exciting announcement that a free update for Mario Golf: Super Rush is on the way, and it will be ready for download starting tomorrow.
This update brings along a thrilling new Ranked Match mode, a fresh course inspired by Super Mario Odyssey’s New Donk City, and – believe it or not, the best part – Toadette makes her appearance!
Footage of the charming Toadette reveals her using the Super Pickax item from Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker to powerfully launch her golf shots. Not only that, but she can also dash across the golf courses while hurling the vegetables from Super Mario Bros. 2 with gusto.
In the list of changes set to arrive tomorrow, Nintendo also mentions “enhanced motion controls”. However, they haven’t provided more specifics on exactly what these improvements entail.
More updates, in plural form, are slated to come to Mario Golf: Super Rush later this year. Could Birdo be part of it?

“The chaos of running between shots can be a delightful experience, but Mario Golf truly shines in its incredibly calming standard mode,” Christian Donlan wrote, giving a thumbs-up to the game in Eurogamer’s Mario Golf: Super Rush review.
