During the grand unveiling of the PlayStation 4, Alex Evans from Media Molecule stepped onto the stage to reveal the Guildford studio’s upcoming project. This project is an expansion of the share and create ideology presented in LittleBigPlanet, and it is constructed around the Move motion controller.
Though specific particulars like a title have not been disclosed yet, Evans emphasized the 3D sculpting made possible by utilizing the Move controller. A short in-game demonstration showcased a sequence of puppets being manipulated by players using Move controllers, all harmoniously coordinated in a musical performance.
This project marks the second game that Media Molecule is developing. Simultaneously, a smaller second team is working on the Vita game Tearaway. More information is expected to be revealed prior to the PlayStation 4’s release later this year.
