A pair of Dark Souls 3 special editions have been discovered at Geekay Games, a retailer located in the United Arab Emirates (thanks to NeoGAF).
The Collector Edition, priced at 499 UAE dirham (approximately £90), comes with the following:
- A collector’s box
- A metal case
- Three iron-on patches
- A 25 cm Red Knight figurine
- A cloth game map
- A hardcover artbook
- A soundtrack
For those willing to splurge, the Prestige Edition [below] is available for 1,799 UAE dirham (about £324). It includes all the same great items as the Collector Edition, but instead of the Red Knight figurine, it features a massive 40cm Lord of Cinder figurine. Additionally, the packaging is distinct to accommodate such a colossal figure.
The retailer has indicated April 12th as the release date, which is a more precise date than what we’ve previously been informed of. Previously, the publisher Namco Bandai stated that the game would be released on March 24th in Japan, and in April for Europe and North America, without specifying an exact date.
We have reached out to Namco Bandai to confirm the content and release date of this listing. Hopefully, we’ll also obtain the UK pricing. We will update you if we learn more.
