After three successive delays, the highly anticipated Scott Pilgrim vs. the World DLC, which will introduce online co-op and the option to play as Scott’s sardonic roommate Wallace, is at long last set to be released this Tuesday in North America and Wednesday in Europe on PSN. It will be available at a cost of £3.99 / €4.99 / $4.99.
The release date of this DLC was ultimately and officially disclosed by Ubisoft producer Guillaume Gad on the PlayStation Blog. Additionally, Xbox Live community figure Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb also tweeted about the DLC’s arrival on the 12th. (Thanks to EG commenter Gun-Nut for this information.)
The Scott Pilgrim DLC was initially announced to be released two years after the digitally distributed game that made its debut in August 2010. Unfortunately, it has since undergone three delays.
Sony has mentioned that PlayStation Plus members will have the advantage of being able to purchase the Scott Pilgrim DLC or the updated Ultimate Edition of the entire game with a 20 percent discount during its initial two weeks.
