Epic has declared that Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode has attracted more than 10 million players since its launch two weeks ago.
It’s fantastic news for Fortnite, which was launched in early access without the Battle Royale mode earlier this year. Within 24 hours of the free-to-play Battle Royale’s release, Epic boasted that one million players had hopped on the Battle Bus, and its popularity has been continuously soaring. This Monday alone witnessed a total of 3.7 million contenders taking up weapons for some last-man-standing-style chaos.
To commemorate the 10-million-player milestone of Battle Royale, Epic has created an infographic, that most cherished of marketing tools, detailing several other astonishingly large numbers. For example, did you know that 6,957,908 umbrellas have been obtained in the game in the last two weeks, or that 292,715,319 jumps have been made from the Battle Bus?
