UPDATE 13/9/16: Ubisoft has ultimately affirmed the leaked Assassin’s Creed Ezio Collection, which is set to be released on 15th November and encompass Assassin’s Creed 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations.
This collection will also provide you with a movie ticket to the new Assassin’s Creed film (at least in the US).
The Ezio Collection incorporates all the single-player DLC. While the multiplayer modes are not included, fortunately, the short films Lineage and Embers are also part of the package to enhance and complete Ezio’s story.
Here’s Ubisoft’s announcement trailer:
ORIGINAL STORY 18/8/16: It seems that Ubisoft is going to bring back everyone’s beloved Assassin’s Creed hero for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
A listing for the “Assassin’s Creed: Ezio Collection” has emerged on the Korean Ratings Board, which has a tendency to leak games before their official announcement (thanks to NeoGAF).
Ezio played the lead role in some of the finest games in the Assassin’s Creed series – 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations – none of which have been launched for PS4 or Xbox One until now.
Our hooded hero’s tale then came to a touching conclusion in the Assassin’s Creed: Embers short film. Hopefully, that is also included.
This year marks the first in a long time without a new Assassin’s Creed game, but this collection – along with the upcoming Michael Fassbender film – should help fill the void.
We have reached out to Ubisoft in case it decides to confirm anything.
