Skydevilpalm has declared that the highly anticipated racing game Victory Heat Rally has finally got a release date. It will be hitting the PC market on October 3, 2024. And if you’re into that kind of thing, it will also be available on mobile via the Crunchyroll Game Vault. Recommended Videos.
Victory Heat Rally is a high-speed arcade racing game that is based on Sega’s quasi-3D super-scaler games such as Power Drift. Last time I checked, it’s truly outstanding. I played the demo around a year ago and was thoroughly impressed, to say the least, somewhere in the realm of being “enthusiastic”. It’s fast-paced, colorful, and brimming with personality.
It’s been a long wait. It had a successful Kickstarter campaign back in 2020, but the development process was a bit slow. It’s a small team, and the primary developer had a child, which led them to strive for a healthier work-life balance. A release window was announced for Winter 2024, so it’s a bit earlier than expected. But what can you do? Game development can be quite unpredictable.
I’m delighted to see its impending release. These days, there is a serious shortage of arcade-style racing games. Some are emerging that draw inspiration from Saturn and PS1 games. However, pre-3D racing games are among my favorite takes on the genre. I’ll be really excited if someone creates a new cross-country title like Rad Mobile.
Victory Heat Rally will be released on PC on October 3, 2024.
